Check out this video for the work we did on a client’s Benchmade Mini-Infidel. These knives are known for having issues deploying when they are dirty. We completely disassembled the knife, cleaned it up and put it back in working order. We also repaired the blade tip and sharpened it to a mirror polish.
Check out this quick video of an Emerson Knives Sheepdog that we sharpened for a client. These knives are interesting because Emerson uses a modified chisel grind to sharpen the knife…explained in more detail on the video.
MIA Blade Works is becoming a new dealer for Zac Brown’s Southern Grind Knives. We just placed our initial order and will be adding the new knives to our inventory soon. This is a big deal for us as fans of Zac Brown’s music, and his high quality American made knives. But it goes beyond that, Southern Grind is all about giving back to the community and supporting Camp Southern Ground; click the link for more info.
This is a short video of a small fixed blade we just sharpened for a client.
The video below shows the “before” and “after” shots of an Imperial M-7 Survival knife that we repaired for a client. The knife was used as a camp knife and took a serious beating. It had been allowed to rust and had even been in a few camp fires. We removed the majority of the rust, thoroughly oiled the knife and sharpened it. It’s now ready for a few more seasons of hard camping use.
A while back I worked on a Benchmade Mini Infidel for a client and got a chance to video the process. I can definitely improve my video and editing skills. Nonetheless, check out the service, repair and sharpening of this OTF automatic.
